【ロバート・パーカー氏の評価】The 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition、 a 100% destemmed cuvee produced from 25 hectoliters per hectare and aged 80% in old wood foudres and 20% in tank、 is dense purple with terrific fruit notes of raspberry、 black cherry、 and even some black currant and licorice. Medium to full-bodied、 with good acidity、 moderate tannin、 and outstanding ripeness and length、 this wine will be at its best in 2-3 years、 and drink well for 12-15. Brothers Jean-Pierre and Thierry Usseglio have once again produced some of the finest Chateauneuf du Papes of the vintage、 particularly in 2005. This is no small accomplishment given the fact that their 2003 cuvees were among the very finest wines of that challenging and irregular year.◆ロバート・パーカー氏評：92〜94点(ワイン・アドヴォケイト誌169号より) 【ロバート・パーカー氏の評価】Even though the 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition needs 3-4 years of bottle age、 this wine (aged 80% in foudres and 20% in tank and made from a blend of 80% Grenache and the rest Syrah Mourvedre、 and Cinsault) exhibits a dense ruby/purple color and a big、 sweet nose of tree bark、 blackberry、 raspberry、 and cherry with licorice、 damp earth、 and a hint of Provencal herbs. The wine is long、 full-bodied、 but still tannic and closed. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2018. This estate has been on an outrageous run of successful vintages ever since 1998、 no small thanks to the extraordinary efforts of the two brothers、 Jean-Pierre and Thierry Usseglio. For them 2005 is a very structured、 concentrated、 powerful vintage that will require significant cellaring.
